Peter A. Newman of A CLOSER LOOK INSPECTIONS, LLC is a graduate of Charleston Southern University. Peter is a licensed and insured South Carolina home inspector with a large scope of inspection/ construction experience and education. As an ASHI (AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HOME INSPECTORS) member certified inspector Peter has met the rigorous requirements to be a provider of the ASHI experience, a professional home inspector that combines the highest technical skills with excellent customer service skills. ASHI is considered to be the inspection industries most recognized, largest, well established and challenging home inspection association to become a member. Each ASHI member must complete at least 250 independent fee paid inspections, pass technical and ethical exams, complete continuing education requirements and meet the rigorous guidelines of ASHI.

Peter A. Newman has been a South Carolina Licensed Home Inspector for over 23 years and completed over 9000 Home Inspections in that time. Peter has 18+ years of hands on experience in the Construction Trades as well as extensive ongoing education pertaining to construction concepts, building trades, codes and a number of facets of the inspection/ construction industry.
